There are five different builtin ways you can show columns or bars with the Microsoft ASP.NET Chart Control, setting the DrawingStyle custom property to one of these constant values: Default, Cylinder, Emboss, LightToDark and Wedge.
The ChartHatchStyle enumeration has dozens of values. If you want to choose one for the BackHatchStyle or CanvasBackHatchStyle chart property, chances are you’ll have no idea how the pattern looks like before you compile and run your chart.
Special templates generate charts for all values of a configuration parameter. Here are all builtin Pie/Doughnut drawing styles for the Microsoft ASP.NET chart control, with all PieDrawingStyle custom property constant (Default, SoftEdge, Concave):
Every chart uses either an internal or an explicit custom color palette, which is a simple set of colors. First chart series uses by default the first color from the palette, second series the second color and so on. Colors are reused when there are more series than palette colors.
